Sound absorbing material LYM

Sound absorbing material type LYM is intended for efficient soundproofing in connection with e.g. filter units and fans.

Sound absorbing material type LYM is available in 3 different types: A1, A2 and B1. A1 and A2 are especially suitable for air noise damping. B1 is especially suitable for vibration damping.

  • Sound absorbing material with adhesive on the inside and alufoil on the outside.
  • Especially suitable for air noise damping.
  • Thickness 25mm
  • Density: 75kg/m³
  • Temperature: -40°C to +100°C
  • Fire conditions:: Tested according to EN ISO 11925-2
  • Plate size: 1x2m

Sound absorbing material type A2:

  • Sound absorbing material with adhesive on the inside.
  • Especially suitable for air noise damping.
  • Thickness: 25mm
  • Density: 26kg/m³
  • Temperature: -40°C to +100°C
  • Fire resistant grey polyether
  • Fire conditions:: FMVSS302
  • Plate size: 1x2m

Sound absorbing material type B:

  • Sound absorbing material with adhesive on the inside.
  • Especially suitable for vibration damping.
  • Thickness: 4mm
  • Density: 7,5kg/m³
  • Temperature: -10°C to +100°C
  • Material: bitumen with high density
  • Fire conditions: FlammabilityME1333, category B.
